The Healthy Approach

So many of us want to change the way we eat, sleep and exercise. This is not easy because these elements are the foundation of healthy lifestyles. When healthy choices become automatic and sustainable, we lose weight, feel great and even enjoy the journey! HealthyNatalie will help you to set simple goals on a weekly basis and build a puzzle of healthy behaviors for your new new lifestyle.

The Journey

HealthyNatalie started over a decade ago when Natalie worked in Corporate America. She felt the call to work 1:1 with individuals to help them adopt healthier lifestyles. Natalie took a chance, uprooted her life from Dallas, TX to Little Rock, AR where she pursued higher education and found passion in Health Behavior and Health Education. She completed her MPH from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences COPH in 2008 and shortly after passed the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam. While earning her degree, she worked on National Institutes of Health (NIH) Obesity Research Grants studying online and in-person weight loss. In tandem, Natalie completed certifications by NFPT as a Personal Trainer, AFAA as a Group Fitness Instructor, ISSA as a Nutrition Specialist, The Cooper Institute, Barre Above, Stages Cycle Institute, TRX and more. Natalie continues to learn and adapts her professional recommendations and plans based on science-backed research and peer-reviewed articles.

Meet Natalie

When Natalie isn’t working with individuals to become healthier, you can find her running with friends from Moms Run This Town (MRTT) as the sun rises and editing photos after the kiddos are sound in bed. Natalie recently began learning how to play the guitar. She has run a number of half-marathons, one marathon, one sprint triathlon and a handful of century bike rides. Natalie loves the outdoors, gardening and spending time with her husband, kids, and community.
